Perhaps the Purpose - Original Exodus Out of Egypt - Audio Lesson 11
We have all spent our lives conditioned to respond to outside forces that make us stay in line: police, teachers, parents … but we need a force inside our hearts that drives us to obey God for the sake of a LOVE for God! Satan is the father of lies, and he is active to this very day in working to deceive those seeking to be completely devoted to the God of the universe. Unfortunately, Satan is masterful at using our fear of outside force reactions to get us focused on the wrong thing.
It is important that we fill our ears, our minds and our hearts with Truth—God is Love, and God asks for Love in return. There is not a formula, a magic combination or an outside force that will bring us into a fully devoted relationship with the God of the universe. Rather, we have to cry out to God and look at the Truth found in God’s Word!
God is looking for change in our hearts, not the changed number on the scale. God is looking for hearts that praise Him in every moment and every situation, not the number of services we attend at church. God is looking for hearts that will lay down their lives for His will and for others, not for our self-selected acts of service that come easily to us. This audio is filled with direct and life-changing Truth that will undo all of the lies that have distracted you. It is time to examine the condition of our heart and make sure it lines up with what God REALLY wants!
