Harvest festivals may seem trendy, complete with hayrides, bonfires, amazing food and outdoor activities in the crisp cool air! You end up with “the blissful feast,” an earthly version of “kid heaven” that brings a huge smile to every face, young and old! The Feast of Harvest was ordained by God for His chosen people over 3,000 years ago and is still celebrated by His saints all over the world! God’s purpose for the Festival was for there to be nothing but Joy at His harvest party! The Remnant of the Kingdom of Love—the Remnant Fellowship—has witnessed God’s festivals restored and rejoiced over because they are celebrated with God at the center of the celebration, resurrecting HIS purpose and design. After 40 days of introspection and repentance, God commands His people to party! In this Life with Gwen and Joe, they will introduce you to a real Feast of Harvest—also known as the Festival of Booths (Tents)—one that feels more like a family reunion complete with dancing, happy children, concerts, hayrides, and everyone united in absolutely genuine joy! So grab your pumpkin spice latte, snuggle in with your sweater and blanket, and get ready for a party—because the joy of the Lord IS our strength!
