Summer is here, and that often means vacation time with the kids! Gwen and Joe recently enjoyed a trip to the beach with friends that included 20-25 children—and the time was filled with joy and laughter and fun, because just like every day with Gwen and Joe, the foundation of the trip was to sharpen the focus on God for everyone. Family devotionals can be such a blessed time—slowing down to pray, talking about God, sharing from the heart, and receiving instruction—so make sure not to leave devotionals out of your vacation time! The kids love it! Teaching children how to connect blessings and answered prayers to their willingness to exhibit good behavior and love one another will create an environment where both parents and children are peaceful and happy!
