Fasting - Part II
Breaking Through a Plateau

All over the world and all throughout history, people have fasted as part of their culture and religion, but it is a rare concept in America, even though it is referenced in both the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. In this episode, Gwen Shamblin answers viewers' questions about fasting: how do you know when to fast, how long should you fast, and when should you stop? What about missing any nutrients? Gwen also addresses the essential element of HOW to make the transfer off of food—or any other worldly focus—and onto God so that when you go off of the fast, you are free of your stronghold, never to return. You will learn the incredible blessings that come from self-denial, and on the other hand, what it is that really causes damage to the body (and it is NOT the fast, by the way). You will hear what is usually at the root of the majority of struggles in the world and the key to true happiness. The featured testimonies on this show are a happily married couple—a woman who has gone through an extended fast and found more energy, joy and weight loss as a result, plus a man who realized that he was holding on to anger and control and was able to apply the same principles to be free from those strongholds!
