Love & Respect Between Husbands and Wives
Life with Gwen and Joe

These days, as we are under a mandated time of “staying at home” due to COVID-19, many husbands and wives are spending more time together than ever before. The good news is that every marriage has an opportunity to be stronger as a result of this time together! Sadly, however, statistics are revealing a much grimmer response to the “stay at home” mandate, as domestic violence rates are on the rise in recent weeks. This week, “Life with Gwen and Joe” examines the nature of a Godly marriage and the blessings of using this togetherness to build your marriage, rather than allowing satan to use this time to tear the relationship down. Joe shares that because of the busy nature of normal life, he and Gwen have embraced this time to slow down with close family. Time together should lead to tighter bonds—if that time is instead breeding anger and discontent, then join Gwen and Joe for a return to the Scriptures that define the Godly roles of both husband and wife. May we all use this time that God has given to make sure we are fulfilling His description of our marital roles: husbands laying down their lives to care for their wives, and wives finding out how best to meet the needs of their husbands. This is a beautiful opportunity to learn more about each other and grow closer! Gwen and Joe take us back to the Word of God, while also sharing practical tips for how to spend this extra time together in a way that brings you closer to God, to one another, and to your family! This beautiful episode will benefit your entire household—not only in this current environment, but also for all the years to come!
