Fall breezes are in the air, bringing cooler days and opportunities to be outdoors enjoying the wonders that God created! God does nothing without deep meaning and symbolism, including the way the trees let go of their leaves and accept the death asked of them each year at this time. God also does nothing that is for His benefit, but rather for the good of His created—so now is the time for each of us to use this time of slowing down to be sure we are putting God at the center of everything and letting the “self” in us die. Contrary to widely held belief, death to self in order to walk with God is not “such a bad death,” as Gwen shares in this week’s installment. Rather, laying down any concern for self opens the door to an incredible life of fun and freedom found in following the Spirit of God! Notice how the children you see in this episode embrace this concept of walking with God in every moment, giving no worries but rather creating an environment of peace and incredible joy! “Good clean fun” that Gwen references is totally attainable—and as you can see watching these children, it is actually more FUN than making selfish decisions. Each week Joe Lara invites us to join them in this “fun life where we put God in the center of everything,” so why not come along and make sure that it truly is All About God every day! Welcome to another amazing episode of “Life with Gwen and Joe!”
