“A wife of noble character … [is] worth far more than rubies.” (Proverbs 31) Although this passage about the Proverbs 31 wife is often quoted, living examples of such a wife are few and far between in this day and age. However, this Scripture tells us that such a woman earns the full confidence of her husband—and as a result, he cannot wait to be her protector, her gallant knight, the one to praise her for all she is and does! Through marriage, God created a reciprocal relationship that mirrors the relationship God desires with us: as the woman builds up and honors her husband, the man lives to take care of his wife. In an honest and heartfelt episode, Gwen acknowledges that she had to learn the “gentle and quiet” spirit that is referenced in the Bible. Joe also shares about his long-time hesitancy to marry because of the marriage examples he saw in the world around him. God brought him to a perfect match, however, and now Joe gushes about his wife, describing her as gracious, poised, humble…the list goes on! Such a personality compels him to devote his life to his wife, completing the ongoing cycle of a Godly marriage where each one lives and longs to serve the other wholeheartedly. Your marriage can be different TODAY after watching this episode! Imagine a home free of arguments and full of fun…then put into practice your side of this Godly relationship—whether wife or husband—and watch God bless your marriage more and more each day! Enjoy this powerful episode of “Life with Gwen and Joe”! Your family will not be the same after today!
