Men are hurting. The world continues to decline economically, politically and socially. Morals plummet. Families implode. Companies rise and then fall on news of impropriety, poor financial performance or cannibalistic competition. In the wake of all this, many turn to various crutches to avoid or abate the pain: drugs, pornography, excessive gambling, overeating, and the list goes on.
Many men spend years searching for answers for how to succeed in their career and also attempt various programs and seminars on a quest to discover how to achieve optimum health physically, mentally and spiritually. While some may achieve career success or improve their physical wellbeing, rising statistics of depression show that often so many men are left with an undeniable feeling that there must be more to life than they are obtaining.
Meet a former sales executive from New York, a licensed insurance agent who doubles as an accomplished musician, a civil engineer, a healthcare executive who nearly had a career in the NBA, and another accomplished musician and worship leader—all from different parts of the country and different backgrounds. In this episode of the You Can Overcome show, hosts David Martin and Tedd Anger are joined by Ryan Sisemore, Durville Patton and Daniel Baker. You will hear from these five men who have truly discovered the key to gaining the 'good life’, and you will be encouraged that YOU can have it, too!
