Through the eyes of a child—full of joy, wonder, innocence and delight—is how we should all view life! The Bible tells us that unless we become like little children, we cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven, which lets us know that God is all about joy and happiness and fun! Being in God’s Kingdom means we are part of a big family, supporting and enjoying one another each day. God is encouraging us to be kind, to be good sports, to think about others, and to share with those around us. Having little ones around instantly makes everyone feel younger and happier! Life with Gwen and Joe is filled with the incredible joy of children and grandchildren…not to mention the hundreds of babies, children, and youth at church, running around the playground, gleefully laughing together as they are being raised to know and glorify God! Watch the children as they are full of joy and uninhibited friendliness—which is so attractive and engaging and delightful! God’s Scriptures are filled with references to children and the youthful characteristics that endear us to our Father and to one another. Take a recess to the playground with Gwen and Joe, as we are all reminded that God created childlike hearts because they are a delight to Him. By seeking this heart for ourselves, we can be candidates for an eternity of joyfully playing at His feet in wonder-filled JOY!
